Exceptionally poor service

I recently purchased a home, and the pre-purchase repairs were allegedly completed by Avalon Restoration. Three weeks after living in the house, the winter rains hit, and my roof is leaking through a vent that was supposed to have a storm collar installed on it. I called Avalon to report the issue, and was surprised when the owner told me "no, I wrote that invoice as a favor to the prior homeowner - he was supposed to actually take care of the work". Since that phone call, Avalon refuses to communicate further - emails bounce, phone calls go un-answered, messages go un-returned. I highly recommend avoiding this irresponsible, fraudulent contractor - I, for one, will be seeing him in court.

Avalon Restoration did a good job on the roof, but after the job was done, some things needed to be finished up like a clean up (due to a melted sealant that poured all over our driveway and side of garage during rain) and some noise that appeared in our chimney after the job was done. it took nearly 2 weeks for Avalon to come and clean up their mess with very poor communication during this time and chimney noise is still not fixed after leaving numerous messages on a phone. started so good and ended not so.

Thank you so much for the great job you did replacing the two porch roofs on my house. Your crew was courteous and hardworking, and suprisingly, they claned up after themselves very well. The only evidence showing they were on my property is the replacement of the two roofs. I appreciate your integrity and honesty and your workmanship, and the materials you used are of higher quality than existing ones. You are a man of your word, except for one thing. When you gave me the proposal, you told me it wold take 2 days to finishthe job it only took y one day!!! Your trustworthiness and more than fair pricing put a clean face oncontractors. Thank you.

Paul, Thank you so much for my new roof! I know its perfect even though i can't see it, just froem they way you kept me informed every step of the way and how you did such a wonderful job of cleaning up afterwards! It's also apparent from your concern for the proper maintence of the roof after you installed it. I trully appreciate your help doing the roof for me since i couldn't!
